IMPORTANT - Please contact info@roadscholar.org to confirm if you wish to be included on one of these transfers. If you are arriving in country ahead of group arrival day and wish to travel to Oxford independently: Oxford Bus's Airline Service is a frequent regular service running day and night, seven days a week from the central bus station and Terminal 5 bus stops 10-12. Vehicles are wheelchair-accessible and a free wi-fi service is available. See OxfordBus.co.uk (Tel: +44 (0)1865 785 400). Trains to Oxford depart from London Paddington and Marylebone rail stations throughout the day. There are usually two direct trains per hour from each station, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. A one-way (single) ticket from either station should cost approximately GBP28. Please note that trains from Marylebone typically have fewer carriages than those from Paddington so can be more crowded, with less space for luggage. Another option from central London is the Oxford Tube - a motorcoach beginning near Victoria Station on Buckingham Palace Road and travelling to the Oxford Gloucester Road Bus Station. Upon arrival to Oxford, take a taxi to St Hugh’s College then report to the Porter’s Lodge (located to the left of the main gate) to check in.
