After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
There is a Waiver and Release Agreement form required for Ididaride Sled Dog Tours, Inc. before participating in the sled dog activity and for Chugach Adventures before participating in the glacier float excursion. Please carefully review the waivers for both activities and complete prior to the program start date. Please note that we request the completed waiver for Ididaride Sled Dog Tours, Inc. to be emailed or mailed to us prior to the start date of the program. The waiver for Chugach Adventures must be completed using the link that can be found in the Recommended Websites section of your pre-program information packet and a parent must sign for the child. Please reach out prior to the start date of the program if you have any questions or concerns. A Parental Consent Form is required for minors and should be returned at least 5 weeks before the program start. This form must be signed by ALL custodial parent(s) / legal guardian(s) of the minor. Completed forms can be emailed to programadmin@roadscholar.org or mailed to Road Scholar, PO Box 56033, Boston, MA 02205. If you have two Young Learners joining the program, each Young Learner will need their own Parental Consent Form completed. Signed liability release waivers are required by insurance carriers from all participants due to the activities on this program.
United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.
A signed Parental Consent form is required for this program. The form must be signed by both parent(s)/legal guardian(s) of the child participating in the program and returned to the program provider prior to the start of the program. You will receive the form as part of your program information packet. You will also be able to access the form through your online account.
If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

You will receive detailed information regarding this transfer in advance of the program. If you did not book airfare through Road Scholar, you will be responsible for making your own way to the program. Please review the suggested options. If you purchased air through Road Scholar and are arriving early or departing later but would like to join the arranged transfer on the Start/Arrival and End/Departure Dates, please notify rswestprograms@roadscholar.org at least 30 days in advance of the program start date.
