Please call Participant Services for your booking #. Please go to www.hollandamerica.com to register. 1. At the top of Holland America’s homepage, click on Manage my Cruise 2. Click on Check In 3. You will see Log In With Booking Number: enter your Booking # , First Name, Last Name then click on the drop down menu & pick a question to answer 4. You are now in your booking confirmation **You must print your own Holland America Luggage Tags, they are required by the ship porters so your bags can make their way safely to your ship cabin.** Once you complete your online registration, you can book drink packages & dining reservations at the alternative restaurants. Please do not book any dining reservations in the main dining room as Road Scholar has booked a group reservation for the duration of the cruise. All Field Trips are also included, so there is no need to book shore excursions.

Brazil
Your passport must have 2 blank passport page(s) for entry/exit visas in this country.
A travel visa is required and it must be obtained in advance.
The cost of this visa is not included in the cost of your trip.
Your visa can be secured electronically. You may use the services of our designated visa service, Passport Visa Express, please see details on the process and the price at Passport Visa Express. If you prefer you may secure your electronic visa on your own, see the notes below for details.
Please note: Starting April 10, 2025, U.S., Canadian and Australian citizens will now require a Brazil visa. The visa must be obtained in advance of the cruise and is required whether participants go ashore or remain onboard in Brazil, you will be denied boarding if you do not present your e-visa at the cruise check in. Visit: brazil.vfsevisa.com to apply. The cost is $80.90 (subject to change). You will need to provide supporting documentation including: Your passport and a passport photo (color photo with a white background, sized 3.5 x 4.5 cm (413 x 531 pixels). Ensure that your nose, mouth eyes and both ears are clearly visible. Do not wear glasses or head covering and ensure no teeth or shadows are visible in the picture. If you need assistance with your application we suggest to contact Passport Visas Express (www.passportvisasexpress.com/roadscholar). There are different services and fees in addition to the VISA fee mentioned above.
Vietnam
Your passport must have 2 blank passport page(s) for entry/exit visas in this country.
A travel visa is required and it may be obtained upon arrival.
The cost of this visa is not included in the cost of your trip.

Please note: Cruise passengers visiting Vietnam are now granted a loose-leaf visa upon arriving at a Vietnam sea port. The application fee for this visa ranges from US $25 to US $80.
Australia
Your passport must have 1 blank passport page(s) for entry/exit visas in this country.
A travel visa is required and it must be obtained in advance.
The cost of this visa is not included in the cost of your trip.
Please note: Participants visiting Australia require an electronic travel authority that they must purchase themselves through the Australian ETA app prior to travel. To get the ETA App, you will need to download the AustralianETA App on your smartphone. Step-by-step instructions are at https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/electronic-travel-authority-601#HowTo. There is a $20 service fee for the ETA application (subject to change).
New Zealand
Your passport must have 1 blank passport page(s) for entry/exit visas in this country.
A travel visa is required and it must be obtained in advance.
The cost of this visa is not included in the cost of your trip.
Please note: U.S. Citizens traveling to New Zealand are required to have an NZeTA, cost is $17 NZD (subject to change) on the mobile app or $23 NZD (subject to change) if completed online. This is also true for cruise ship passengers. See the link for further information:https://nzeta.immigration.govt.nz/ You must also pay an IVL, which funds tourism infrastructure and helps protect the natural environment, this fee is paid at the same time as your application request and costs NZD$35. Please allow 72 hours for the NZeTA to be processed.
If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Start of Trip: Check in 4:00 p.m.,Dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Getting to the site: Participants that have arranged their airfare through Road Scholar, and are arriving on the designated arrival date of the program will receive an arrival transfer. Please note, if you did not book your air through Road Scholar, you will NOT be able to join a transfer. Your trip ends on: Sunday, May 17, 2026 in Fort Lauderdale at MS Volendam
End of Trip: Disembark in the morning, please do not book early morning flights out of Ft. Lauderdale this morning as the time the ship arrives in port is always subject to change
Getting to the airport: Please note, if you did not book your air through Road Scholar, you will NOT be able to join a transfer. Taxis are available from the port to the Ft. Lauderdale airport.
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
