A sun-splashed picturesque valley, just 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean, is home to Hidden Valley Music Seminars, An Institute of the Arts. On Hidden Valley's campus is Lubow Lodge, a lovely, new, single-story residence building. Each room has two beds (one queen and one twin), carpeting, a desk, closet, full mirror, and private bathroom. All rooms can be locked from the inside but when we go out we leave them unlocked. Near an idyllic circle of olive trees and 50 feet from the Dining Room, a wraparound deck overlooks valley hillsides. The Hidden Valley campus is a rustic, 10-acre site in the foothills of the Santa Lucia Mountain Range. This serene setting offers Road Scholars the chance to relax and commune. It is walking distance to the shops and galleries of Carmel Valley Village. Road Scholar is unable to provide roommate matching services at this accommodation.

It is a single-story residence building with simple, cheery, small rooms, which may bring to mind memories of summer camp, with two twin beds and a private bathroom. All rooms have a sliding glass door, which can be locked from the inside but when we go out we leave them unlocked. Near the dining room and classroom, each room exits to the beauty of surrounding oak trees and hillsides. The Hidden Valley campus is a rustic, 10-acre site in the foothills of the Santa Lucia Mountain Range. This serene setting offers Road Scholars the chance to relax and commune. It is walking distance to the shops and galleries of Carmel Valley Village. Road Scholar is pleased to offer roommate matching services at this accommodation.

The historic Merritt House Hotel offers twenty-two recently remodeled rooms with unique designs, some with balconies overlooking private secluded gardens, all with fireplaces. The Merritt House was originally built in 1830 and developed into its present use in 1979. It is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places to preserve its statewide significance. It is also listed annually in the Monterey History and Art Association Adobe Tour. Merritt House is conveniently located in downtown Monterey, CA just a few blocks from the Monterey Conference Center, historic plazas and buildings, Old Fisherman's Warf, and numerous restaurants, shops, and galleries. Also included is a sit-down continental breakfast served in the common room where guests meet and share their itineraries.
