This service is provided by an outside carrier and is available at an additional fee. Tickets are available at Greyline in in the airport terminal, or can be purchased on the bus. From the Port Authority terminal in New York, take Martz Trailways to Stroudsburg/Delaware Water Gap. Once you arrive, the Shawnee Institute offers a complimentary shuttle service from Martz Bus Station in Stroudsburg/Delaware Water Gap, PA to the Inn. Roundtrip shuttle services are available to anyone who is interested in utilizing them at an additional cost of $100 per person, each way. Transportation details for Road Scholar Shawnee Shuttle: Newark Airport Shuttle (EWR) $100.00 each way 1 hr 30 min average travel time Sunday shuttle from Newark (EWR) to Shawnee departs promptly at 5:00 p.m. (arrange flights accordingly). Friday shuttle from Shawnee to Newark (EWR) departs promptly at 8:00 a.m. (arrange flights accordingly). THESE ARE THE ONLY DATES AND TIMES FOR THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE. If your registration included a "round trip airport shuttle" this service is included already. If you initially registered as "no shuttle" you can still reserve the shuttle by contacting ShawneeRoadScholar@gmail.com

From North, South, East and West

From the North: Interstate 84 W to PA Exit 46, Milford. Turn left toward Milford at the stop. Go through Milford. Follow US 209 South for 24.7 miles. Just past the elementary school, make a LEFT turn onto Hollow Rd. Go 4.0 miles (pass Shawnee Mountain) until Hollow Road intersects with River Road at the Shawnee Playhouse. Turn RIGHT onto River Road and the entrance to Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is 1/4 mile on your LEFT. From the South: I-95 N TO I-476 N. (If coming from Philadelphia Airport, take I-76N then I-476N). On I-476 N go to US-22 E, to US-33 N, then I-80 E to PA Exit 310, Delaware Water Gap. Follow the traffic circle around, taking the third exit onto River Road. Go under overpass, over railroad tracks and at the stop sign proceed to the RIGHT. Stay on River Road approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort will be on the RIGHT at the bottom of the hill. From the East: I-80 W to PA Exit 310, Delaware Water Gap (immediately after toll bridge, first exit in PA). Follow signs for Delaware Water Gap. Follow the traffic circle around, taking the first exit onto River Road. Go under overpass, over railroad tracks and at stop sign proceed to the RIGHT. Stay on River Road for approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is on the RIGHT at the bottom of the hill. From the West: Take I-80 E to exit 310, Delaware Water Gap Follow the traffic circle around, taking the third exit onto River Road. Go under overpass, over railroad tracks and at stop sign proceed to the RIGHT. Stay on River Road for approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is on the RIGHT at the bottom of the hill. NOTE FOR ALL: Once you are at the entrance of the Resort, pass the guard house, continue straight and go over white picket bridge. The main parking lot will be on your left. You may use the ground level entrance, following the red brick pathway from the parking lot. Elevator to left.

Start of Trip:  4:30 p.m. hotel check-in begins. Hospitality Room open for socialization until Welcome Dinner at 7:00 p.m. After dinner, meet for orientation, program overview and first class.

Your trip ends on: Friday, November 14, 2025 in Shawnee on Delaware at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

End of Trip: 10:30 a.m. after breakfast; 11:00 a.m. check-out..
