Experience the beauty and culture of this Balkan nation as local experts introduce you to the Roman history of Split, the islands of Hvar, Korcula and Brac and the medieval and modern identity of Dubrovnik.

Raised in the Alpine region of Slovenia, Petra Lozica now lives in Croatia on the island of Korcula, where Marco Polo was born. A graduate of the University of Rijeka, Petra is an expert on the region’s culture and the history of the former Yugoslavia. She is passionate about travel, nature, animals, gardening and the enjoying the beauty of the Adriatic Sea.

Ivan Boban
Born and raised in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Ivan has always been drawn to the sea and to travel. At a young age, he was helping his Grandpa with his fishing boat and trying to converse with visitors in the Old Harbor of Dubrovnik. He got his diploma at American College of Management and Technology in Dubrovnik which led him and gave him opportunities in the Tourism and Hospitality industry through working and living in the USA, France and Italy, as well as Croatia.

Zoran Poljak
Based in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Zoran Poljak is fluent in Spanish, English, German, Italian and his native Croatian. He also speaks some Portuguese. In 1992, Zoran was forced to leave for Germany as a war refugee. For 10 years, he worked in retail and traveled the world. After returning to Croatia, Zoran began leading local adventures — specializing in explorations of Dubrovnik, as well as Croatia and its neighboring countries.
