Shrouded in mystique, the tiny Kingdom of Bhutan sits wedged amongst the mighty Himalayas in a mountainous landscape cut by deep river valleys and terraced rice fields. Known to its people as Druk Yul, or “Land of the Thunder Dragon,” it is the last bastion of authentic Himalayan Buddhism.

Tshittim Jamtsho, commonly known as "Tim," has been leading trekking groups and explorations throughout Bhutan since 2005. He is interested in his country's history and ecology, and enjoys hiking, exploring local flora and fauna, and following current events. Tim speaks six languages, including fluent English, Hindi, and Nepali.
