At a Glance

Located in the sunny south of Spain, Sevilla is a 2,200-year-old city that was made wealthy by the New World — hulking Spanish galleons would sail here to have their treasures from the Americas counted and taxed. Have your own enriching experience of Seville — Sevilla in Spanish — on this immersive six-week adventure. Stay in an apartment, learn to “hablar español” in daily language classes and get to know the city and its proud Andalusian culture intimately. Throughout your stay, you’ll be supported by a Road Scholar Group Leader who’s on call to help.
Activity Level
Let's Go!
Get around the city mainly on foot each day; you’re likely to walk at least two miles per day. On field trips, walking up to three miles with uneven terrain, slopes and stairs. Activity level is based on included program elements.
Small Group
Small Group
Love to learn and explore in a small-group setting? These adventures offer small, personal experiences with groups of 13 to 24 participants.

Best of all, you’ll…

  • Live like a Sevillano, moving into an apartment and savoring the Andalusian capital’s history, flamenco music and sunny climate.
  • Improve your Spanish during classes at a renowned language school whether you’re a beginner or speak “un poquito de español."
  • Join your Group Leader and fellow participants for field trips and excursions to Granada and Madrid.
