After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

A signed Parental Consent form is required for this program. The form must be signed by both parent(s)/legal guardian(s) of the child participating in the program and returned to the program provider prior to the start of the program. You will receive the form as part of your program information packet. You will also be able to access the form through your online account.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Imperial Copenhagen in Copenhagen

Start of Trip:  3:00 p.m. hotel check-in: 5:30 p.m. Orientation; 6:30 p.m. Welcome Dinner.

Getting to the site: Taxi: Taxis are readily available outside Terminals 1 and 3 at Copenhagen Airport. The journey to the Imperial Hotel typically takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs approximately DKK 250-350. Train: From Terminal 3, take a train from track 2 towards Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård). Trains depart every 10 minutes during the day and the journey takes about 13 minutes. Tickets cost between DKK 65–140 and can be purchased at the airport kiosks or via the “DOT Billetter” mobile app. Bus: Bus 5C departs from just outside Terminal 3 and travels to Copenhagen Central Station in about 35 minutes. Tickets cost approximately DKK 36 and can be purchased at the airport kiosks or directly from the bus driver (cash only). Upon arrival at Copenhagen Central Station, the Imperial Hotel is approximately a 5-minute walk (650 meters) away. Alternatively, you can take the train one more stop to Vesterport Station, which is a 1-minute walk from the hotel. Please note that travel times and costs are approximate and can vary based on traffic conditions and time of day.

Getting to the site by train or bus: Danish Railways run from the airport to København H station, a journey of 13 minutes with departures every 10 minutes. Bus route 5C runs to the Hovedbanegården Tickets should typically cost DKK18 and DKK25 for a journey of approximately 35 minutes

Tickets can be purchased from ticket machines at the station, 7-Eleven kiosks, or via the "DOT Billetter" mobile app. Bus: Bus 5C departs from near Copenhagen Central Station and travels to the airport. Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
