After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

A signed Parental Consent form is required for this program. The form must be signed by both parent(s)/legal guardian(s) of the child participating in the program and returned to the program provider prior to the start of the program. You will receive the form as part of your program information packet. You will also be able to access the form through your online account.

All information we obtain regarding health precautions is from the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta at 404-332-4559 or www.cdc.gov. Please remember that we are a travel company and are not authorized to prescribe any inoculations or medications. The CDC recommends that your Hepatitis A and B, COVID-19, and routine immunizations (chickenpox, DTP, flu, MMR, polio, shingles) be current. No inoculations are required to enter Italy. If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Arrival day is on July 20, 2025

Start of Trip:  2:30 p.m. Day 2 hotel check-in; 4:30 p.m. Orientation; 7:00 p.m. Welcome Reception; 7:30 p.m. Welcome Dinner.

Getting to the site: To reach Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi on your own, you have two options: A) Curreri Co. coaches depart every hour from Parcheggio P1 (Parking lot P1), just outside the terminal. The ride takes about 1.5 hours with stops along the way; the ticket costs €10 and can be purchased on board. In Sorrento, get off at Circumvesuviana train station. There is a taxi stand at the train station exit; the fare will be about €40 for the ride up to Sant'Agata. B) A private car and driver transfer direct from Naples Airport to Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi can be requested and arranged through Sireon Tour (Sorrento) tel +39 081-807-1865 or email info@sireontours.com. The fare will be approximately €200 for door-to-door service.

Getting to the site by train or bus: Sant'Agata via Sorrento is connected to Naples by a minor railway line called the Circumvesuviana. Napoli Centrale and Napoli Afragola are on the main railway line that connects major cities in Italy.

End of Trip: 10:30 a.m. after breakfast and hotel check-out.

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: If you purchased the program without airfare through Road Scholar or are arriving in Naples early, please note that a complimentary group transfer from Naples Airport to Sant'Agata is available only on Day 2 of your program.  To secure your spot, please visit our transfer request page and submit your flight details—flight number and arrival time—no later than 30 days before departure. Once your request is received, you will receive confirmation of the exact transfer time, which may be subject to slight adjustments based on airline schedules.
